Writing, teaching, and life coaching have a common root, for me. They’re all expressions of my joy in learning, summarizing, organizing and communicating facts, ideas, concepts, and knowledge clearly and compellingly.
Writing is more quantifiable, black and white, linear – more left-brained with a touch of intuition.
Coaching is more intuititive and feeling-based, more right-brained, using analytical skills in service to “the woo.”
Teaching sits between writing and coaching – conveying information sequentially while being aware of what’s going on non-verbally with learners.
I provide a full array of environmental education services, ranging from a two-hour natural history walk or talk to a full retreat. I offer a free sixty-minute consultation for prospective coaching clients. Please contact me to discuss these opportunities further.
